Working with The Heritage group from Manor Park At Your Convenience is a documentary and photomontage project inspired by the bathroom suppliers, H.M. James & Sons Ltd on Romford Road Est. 1881.
Images from a century of bathroom fads and fashion are interwoven with the groups own childhood recollections; arriving in London in the 1960’s from India & the Caribbean and experiencing baths for the first time, ‘that peculiar British penchant for stewing in a tub of their own dirt’
At Your Convenience explores the controversial role of the bathroom in our culture and society and how it discretely connects us all, publicly and privately.
