OZONE

Frames of Mind have been awarded £33,000 to deliver ‘Ozone’, a free 3 x 8 week digital skills training programme, for young people and young adults,16-25 yrs in Newham, experiencing, or at risk of experiencing mental ill-health; young people who have fallen through the gaps of services, or had life choices diminished due to COVID19.

The NCEL Grant awards were voted for by a Young Peoples selection panel.
Ozone offers an inclusive, relaxed and inspiring space where young people can learn new skills together, develop existing skills, set new goals and build supportive friendships.

During the course of the programme participants will produce and curate work for a creative digital CV, photography, digital art, film, stop frame animation, to use as a stepping stone into further education, training and potential employment.

I genuinely had such a fun time at Ozone, and at that point in time I wasn’t really doing anything creatively, I was just working at Lego, and meeting with you guys really helped push me back to doing what I love. Thank you so much for offering a space where I could do that

My wellbeing and confidence before the Ozone session: 5 and after … 10 I guess! I really liked the sound recording activity and picture photography on location.

Cyrus often doesn’t want to go to college – today he refused to go and became upset. He likes coming to Ozone – this is ‘his thing
